Let’s improve the contrast. Add a Black/White adjustment layer and change the blending mode to Soft Light. Lower the opacity to 90%. Paint with black in the layer mask the corners of the eyes and the earth because not doing so will clip the black colors completely.

Step 29
I am stil not satisfied by the contrast so let’s increase it even more. Add a gradient map adjustment layer and choose Black, White from the gradients presets. Change the layer blend mode to Luminosity. Fill the layer mask with black and using a white soft brush at 50% opacity paint over the eyes and the icy hair.

Step 30
Add a curves adjustment layer and drag the curve downwards to decrease luminosity. Fill the layer mask with black and using a white soft brush at 80% opacity paint over the stars background.
