Ok….
You can of course do some minor alterations in this last step as adjusting the size,gradient colour and direction of the ribbon. Play with the transform option to change them. I too applied some minor corrections and the result was……….good.

I think you made some parts harder for yourself then it needs to be. You always have the center tool and low tolerance magic wand. :)
